An exciting opportunity is available as an Air Operations Associate to join a well-established organisation in the logistics sector. Based in Schiphol-Rijk, this role focuses on managing air freight operations from start to finish.

Functieomschrijving

  • Coordinate and oversee air import and export shipments from origin to destination.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and review necessary shipping and import documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor shipment statuses and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Resolve any operational issues or discrepancies related to air imports.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports for all activities.

Profiel

  • Ability to complete an Air Freight background check - VGB (Certificate of No Objection).
    8+ years resident in the EU.
  • Proven experience with import or export airfreight operations and customs procedures.
  • Proficiency in English or Dutch. Mandarin is a plus.
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in relevant logistics software and tools.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.

Aanbod

  • Salary of max. €3.500 euros per month based on experience
  • 24 holidays per year
  • Travel allowance of 0,23 euros per km
  • Holiday allowance 8% of the yearly salary
  • Pension scheme 50% paid by the employer
