Business Analyst - Commercial (Consumer Products Industry)

Functional and Process Understanding

• Leverage Salesforce and Distributor Management Systems to support the configuration and optimisation of Salesforce, Newspage, Distributor Management Systems and Trade Promotion Management, to enable accurate trade planning, order capture, promotional execution, and customer engagement.
• Understand and document Commercial systems and the integrations with ERP and other systems (e.g., trade promotion management, Sales Force Automation, Distributor and Cabinet Management, master data, pricing, other data sources).

System and Data Analysis

• Ensure the configuration of SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and other new commercial solutions enables effective processes.
• Map data requirements, attributes, and flows across SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and other commercial systems.
• Identify data and other changes required in retained applications to align with the new end2end process and data models.
• Define data transformation logic and validation rules between planning, ERP, and internal/external data sources.
• Work with architects and data teams to implement a simplified ("light") MDG model, complemented by other data management solutions.

Integration and Design Support

• Support the definition and documentation of end-to-end data and process integrations across SAP, commercial solutions such as Salesforce, eB2B, TPM, DMS, Cabinet Management and other connected platforms.
• Work closely with solution architects to ensure data flow consistency and alignment with business rules.
• Document interface requirements and assist in testing integration scenarios between planning and execution systems.
• Support in the definition of the Commercial Systems Planning Cutover procedures and drive execution thereof.
• Support business users in Data Cutover templates, data validation & signoffs.

Documentation, Testing & Training

• Support the production of clear and complete documentation - process flows, functional specs, data mapping sheets, test scripts, and user guides.
• Support the execution of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) to validate process and system functionality.
• Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer for business users and other IT colleagues, ensuring understanding of system behaviour and data management responsibilities.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Collaborate with commercial Out Of Home, In-Home, IT, and data governance teams to ensure alignment on functional requirements.
• Serve as a bridge between business SMEs and technical teams - translating planning needs into system specifications.
• Support change management activities related to new system processes and data ownership models.
