In this role, you are responsible for keeping the warehouse and tank park running smoothly. You work in and around a facility with multiple storage tanks, where you monitor processes, support technical activities and ensure everything flows as it should.

A fast-growing international organisation in sustainable logistics and waste processing is expanding its operations in Amsterdam. Within this environment, everything revolves around efficiency, safety and teamwork. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an allround warehouse operator who enjoys hands-on work and thrives both independently and as part of a team.

Functieomschrijving

  • Managing and monitoring the tank park (multiple storage tanks)
  • Keeping a close eye on filters, flow processes and installations, and intervening when needed
  • Performing minor technical maintenance and supporting on-site repairs
  • Loading and unloading trucks, tankers and trailers
  • Supporting drivers with incoming and outgoing goods, including used and new products
  • Picking orders and preparing shipments
  • Managing stock levels of materials and products
  • Supporting fleet-related activities such as cleaning and repositioning vehicles
  • Ensuring the warehouse and outdoor areas remain clean, organised and safe



You work closely with your colleagues and are a key part of a team that keeps the operation moving every day.

Profiel

  • MBO-level working and thinking ability
  • A hands-on, proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility in working hours (start times between 6:00, 7:00 or 9:00)
  • Affinity with technical work is a plus, but not a requirement
  • A forklift certificate, or willingness to obtain one quickly
  • Driving licence B; licence C is a strong advantage
  • Experience in waste processing, oils or fats is a plus, but not essential
