In this role, you're responsible for supporting the supply chain cycle as the first point of contact for a group of customers. Commercially astute, you manage sales and order enquiries, logistics, and product supply through ERP systems. You proactively oversee orders from enquiry to delivery within agreed lead times and support the Sales Manager in optimising sales and customer service.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for all outbound logistics activities and serves as the main point of contact for internal teams and external (3PL) warehouse partners. Additionally, this role manages inbound deliveries from international suppliers and collaborates closely with Demand & Supply Planning, Operations, and Customer Operations to ensure an efficient and timely flow of goods.
As an Ocean Freight Forwarder you organize and coordinate international transports by land and sea, including documentation, communication with various parties, and price negotiations. Ocean and road freight are most important for this role.
You'll be collaborating closely with Customer Collaboration Managers, Sales Teams, and Distribution Partners, you'll also be responsible for proactive order management, performance monitoring, and continuous process improvement - all while keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.
