Do you thrive on coordinating international shipments and keeping global supply chains moving? As an Ocean Export Agent, you'll manage export shipments from booking through to final destination, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule. You'll work closely with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and logistics partners across the world.

Job Description

    • Managing ocean export shipments from A to Z
    • Coordinating bookings with shipping lines and transport providers
    • Preparing and reviewing export documentation
    • Arranging inland transportation where required
    • Monitoring shipment progress and ensuring deadlines are met
    • Communicating with customers, carriers, overseas offices, and suppliers
    • Proactively resolving operational challenges
    • Providing shipment updates and excellent customer service
    • Maintaining accurate records and handling administrative processes
    • Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency

The Successful Applicant

    • Experience within ocean freight forwarding or export operations
    • Strong organizational and coordination skills
    • Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
    • Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
    • Ability to prioritize and perform under pressure
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Proactive attitude and ownership mentality
    • Team player with a positive and professional approach
