For one of the most prominent Luxury Goods companies (Retail), We are currently looking for an Accounting assistant for the period of six months with a possibility to extend to a year. You will be responsible for various Financial administrative tasks and support the team of 8 employees with your knowledge and skills. After 6 months, there will be a review to determine your progress and a possible next step!

Job Description

Your day as a Accounting Assistant (AP / AR Specialist) consists of, yet is not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Accounts Payable- and Receivable admin / management
  • Assist with journal entries
  • Support with the quarterly closings
  • Partake in Financial reporting
  • Assist the Finance Manager to continuously improve the systems / processes
  • Process & reconcile frequent check runs
  • Respond to internal/external customer & vendor inquiries
  • Stakeholder management with foreign entities and the local stores

The Successful Applicant

  • More than 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • MBO4 (vocational) or higher
  • Team player and pro-active mindset
  • Fluent in English and preferably an additional European language
  • Proficient in Excel and additional ERP systems
  • Available per July!
  • Experience within the Retail sector is a major plus
  • 32 till 40 hours a week
