Functieomschrijving

Handle daily procurement tasks involving both local and international suppliers
Take responsibility for purchasing and stock checks across a range of order sizes
Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal teams and external partners to support business and operational goals
Participate in regular planning meetings to share updates on expected delivery dates
Monitor and follow up on purchase orders, ensuring timely and complete deliveries through active supplier contact
Maintain accuracy in ERP data, particularly related to delivery timelines and pricing
Manage supplier performance, negotiate effectively, and identify opportunities for cost savings
Proactively identify and address inefficiencies within procurement processes
Support and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives led by the Operations Manager

Profiel

Experience in procurement combined with work preparation is required, with a strong understanding of mechanical engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Dutch or Chinese is an advantage
Proficient in using standard business software including Excel, Word, Power BI, and the broader Microsoft Office Suite
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or similar ERP systems is considered a plus
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education is preferred
