You will be part of a team operating at the European level, functioning as a control tower that provides system solutions and transport services to all our European factories. Currently, we are implementing the Oracle Transport Management System (OTM), and you will play a key role as the primary user responsible for centrally booking transport and coordinating with stakeholders across multiple European countries.

Functieomschrijving

  • Plan and manage transport operations using the Oracle Transport Management System (OTM).
  • Communicate and coordinate effectively with stakeholders, including carriers, suppliers, customs brokers, and warehouses.
  • Quickly address and resolve any daily operational issues that arise.
  • Track and trace all shipments in the system to keep information current and accurate.
  • Upload and review essential documents, including export documentation, to ensure smooth transport and customs clearance processes.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and produce weekly or monthly reports on carrier performance.
  • Take a proactive approach to optimise transport planning and truck optimization, enhancing cost efficiency and delivery performance.
  • Support local transport planners across European countries in organising transport and resolving carrier-related issues.



Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.
  • 2-3 years of experience in transport planning.
  • Strong soft skills, including flexibility and adaptability.
  • Available 36 hours per week.
  • Experience with Transport Management Systems (TMS) is essential.

Aanbod

  • Gross annual salary between €50,000 and €55,000.
  • Option to work from home one day per week.
  • 25 vacation days per year.
  • 36-hour work week.
