As a Trade and Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for a variety of operational and administrative tasks that support the sales and logistics processes. You will work closely with internal teams, suppliers, logistics partners, and customers to ensure timely order processing, accurate documentation, and smooth shipment flows.

With a strong emphasis on food ingredients, the company plays a vital role in delivering high-quality products across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The European office oversees logistics, sales support, and customer service operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of goods from global suppliers to regional customers.

Functieomschrijving

Order & Purchase Management

  • Process stock and direct shipment sales orders from customers
  • Place purchase orders for stock and direct shipments
  • Issue sales invoices to customers



Logistics & Documentation

  • Prepare export documentation
  • Send payment reminders for outstanding invoices
  • Provide instructions to logistics service providers
  • Monitor shipments from suppliers to Europe
  • Review invoices from logistics partners



Data & Reporting

  • Provide sales data to internal stakeholders
  • Collect forecasts from key customers
  • Review monthly stock reports
  • Support Intereste reporting
  • Monitor and review customer credit limits

Profiel

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within supply chain, logistics, or sales support
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as Exact or similar platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint
  • Experience with MSC (a plus)
  • Fluent in English (working language)
  • Conversational level of Japanese (preferred)
  • Additional languages such as Dutch or other European languages are a plus
