We are seeking a competent and highly motivated Technical Buyer to be part of our Procurement & Supply Chain team. The successful candidate will be expected to manage all aspects of buying goods and services for the company, ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain.

Job Description

  • Managing the procurement of goods and services for the company.
  • Ensuring that the supply chain runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Liaising with suppliers to negotiate contracts and secure the best prices.
  • Tracking and monitoring delivery of goods and services.
  • Coordinating with various departments within the company to understand and fulfil their procurement needs.
  • Keeping up-to-date with market trends and changes in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
  • Maintaining records of all procurement activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Technical Buyer should have:

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • A good understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure the best prices from suppliers.
  • Ability to read drawings.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of the technical industry and its trends.
