Based in a beautiful office in Amsterdam, my client is an internationally renowned organisation within the manufacture of floor care products. Whereas other competitors saw sales decline by numerous percentage points during the economic downturn, the client's sales remained steady.

Functieomschrijving

  • Ensure that the facility activities add value to our product, process and our customers
  • Develop and improve communication with internal and external customers
  • Investigate and develop process solutions for distribution related customer charge-back issues
  • Forecast storage and capacity needs of assigned facilities
  • Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes to keep local teams as efficient as possible
  • Collaborate with key partners/stakeholders to get detailed functional requirements for development teams to incorporate in technical builds

Profiel

  • Impeccable analytical and problem-solving skills
  • 2-5 years of experience in Logistics/Supply Chain
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Logistics/Supply chain or relevant working experience
  • Good PC skills - MS Word and Excel - and the ability to learn new packages
  • Eye for detail
  • Have the ability to be an active participant or assist in team leadership on a team or organisational meetings
