Functieomschrijving

  • Preparing and delivering regular market reports, providing insights into the trends and developments within the global logistics sectors.
  • Providing insights on market trends and industry practices.
  • Analyzing various factors affecting 'freight rates' in international logistics -> sea & air transportation
  • Working closely with internal teams to provide data-backed recommendations for business strategies.
  • Producing reports on market intelligence to influence procurement decisions.
  • Working collaboratively with teams to drive process improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Attending meetings with customer companies/execution companies in European region and providing direct briefings on the current sea or air freight situation.

Profiel

A successful Market Intelligence Specialist should have:

  • BSc or MSc in Business, Economics, International Trade or related fields.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage.
  • Proven experience in market intelligence or similar roles within the logistical industry. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the field.
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in using market research tools and databases.
