As a Senior Buyer, you will play a critical role in the Procurement & Supply Chain department of a market leader in an aerospace manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be accountable for sourcing and procuring high-quality materials and establishing strong supplier relationships.

Functieomschrijving

  • Source and procure high-quality materials for production processes.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best deals.
  • Support commodity managers for the geographic region supplier selection RFQ / RFP.
  • Responsible for supplier risk and tender management.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential new suppliers.
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor supplier performance and implement improvement plans when necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Participate in the development of procurement strategies and policies.

Profiel

A successful 'Senior Buyer' should have:

  • A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years experience as a Tactical Buyer or similar within a manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong tender management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with various departments.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a very big plus.
  • European passport is a must.
