My client is a leading global manufacturer of computer hardware, specializing in developing innovative ICT solutions for various sectors such as digital signage, retail, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and corporate environments.

They offer expert and customized solutions in hardware, software, and content, enabling them to meet the specific needs of their customers. As a multi-channel organization, they sell their products through an extensive network of distributors and resellers. Their clientele includes shopping centers, retail chains, and large corporations, who rely on their expertise and high-quality products.

This organization has worldwide offices in the United States, Taiwan, Australia, China, and Japan. The headquarters for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, where you will be working, is located in 's-Hertogenbosch. This office has approximately 20 employees and serves as the central hub for activities in this region.

Job Description

As a Sales Manager, you are responsible for achieving the established sales targets for this organization in the United Kingdom and the Nordics. In this challenging commercial role, you maintain existing and new relationships with Channel partners and distributors. You ensure that the current customer base sells the company's products in collaboration with your partners.

Your enthusiasm and professional attitude enable you to expand the business with the current customer base and newly activated customers. In this role, you report to the Sales Director.

What are your tasks and responsibilities in summary?

  • Maintaining contact with current and new customers and partners within the United Kingdom and Nordics region;
  • Being aware of ongoing projects within your region and ensuring that you can deliver for these projects through a network of direct and indirect customers;
  • Negotiating with direct and indirect customers regarding terms, prices, warranties, and marketing activities;
  • Planning and executing marketing plans (such as events, trade shows, newsletters) in collaboration with the marketing team and partners/customers;
  • Together with a team of helpful colleagues, you are responsible for the daily activities necessary to achieve your turnover targets and growth. This includes supporting deliveries, customer payments, internal negotiations, coordinating technical support;
  • Processing relevant market and customer information in the CRM system (Salesforce).

The Successful Applicant

  • Operates at HBO (higher professional education) level (you have completed a degree in International Business, Commercial Economics, Business Administration, or a similar field);
  • Relevant commercial work experience in B2B sales;
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
  • Any knowledge of the Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, Icelandic, or Swedish languages is an advantage but definitely not a must;
  • Possesses strong communication and negotiation skills (able to negotiate at CEO/management level);
  • Used to organizing matters clearly, shows initiative, and works independently;
