Functieomschrijving

  • Actively prospecting and acquiring new clients in air freight (import and export).
  • Managing customer visits, preparing and following up on quotations.
  • Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients.
  • Monitoring market trends and adjusting sales strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborating with the Air Forwarding department to increase market share.
  • Managing after-sales processes, including registering rate agreements and informing internal teams.
  • Providing monthly sales reports to track and contribute to sales performance.

Profiel

  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience in logistics forwarding, particularly in air freight or perishables
  • Proactive, results-driven, and skilled in prospecting and acquiring new clients
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (spoken and written)
  • Comfortable making cold calls and converting leads into results
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A keen understanding of market trends and sales strategies
  • Collaborative team player, able to work with internal departments to ensure smooth processes
