Within this role you are responsible for both direct and indirect procurement, sourcing, purchasing and negotiating with suppliers to get the right terms and conditions. Besides all this you will be able to optimise or set up new procurement procedures throughout the organisation.

Functieomschrijving

  • Oversee and optimise purchasing activities.
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers for the best terms.
  • Manage purchase orders and ensure policy compliance.
  • Align inventory needs across departments.
  • Build vendor relationships and resolve issues.
  • Identify cost savings and process improvements.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies.
  • Handle supplier selection for business travel contracts.

Profiel

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience as a Purchasing Specialist or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytic skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other business software programs.
  • Able to work independently and in teams.
  • Experience in purchasing second-hand cars is a plus.
