About Our Client

The organization is an international wholesaler of various types of mounting and fastening materials. They are active in more than 80 countries worldwide and employ more than 80,000 people. The Financial Shared Service Center of this organization is located in Den Bosch. International payment transactions for the entire organization are handled from here. In addition to the Shared Service Center in Den Bosch, there is also one located in Switzerland.

As a Payments Employee you will join the Master Data team. The team currently consists of 7 enthusiastic colleagues. There is a lot of collaboration within the team and there is a daily start to discuss the tasks. Dutch, English and German are spoken in the office. Within this role you also have contact with your colleagues from the office in Switzerland.

Job Description

  • Managing the master data of the companies suppliers, ensuring information is accurate and within the set risk norm, while meeting deadlines;
  • Overseeing external supplier- and intercompany payment processes for the organization, making sure everything runs safely and efficiently;
  • Prioritizing fraud prevention measures to uphold financial security and integrity in payment transactions;
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with stakeholders and within the organization; colleagues throughout the chain to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure smooth financial operations;
  • Active participation in the introduction of a new global Payment Factory solution for the Group companies (project work).

The Successful Applicant

  • HBO or MBO+ work and intellectual level;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to keep calm under pressure while meeting short deadlines;
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy, as well as taking pleasure in working with master data- and financial processes;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SAP knowledge is a plus;
  • A good command of English and willingness to learn German, business command of other foreign languages is a plus.
