About Our Client

We are a dynamic company at the forefront of international trade, with locations spanning Belgium, Poland, the Netherlands, Turkey, Hungary, France, the UK, Germany, Denmark, Romania, and soon, Bulgaria! We're searching for a Operations Manager to lead our first team in the Netherlands and take charge of building and managing the operations of our new branch.

Job Description

As our Operations Manager, you will be the powerhouse driving the planning, organization, and control of our e-commerce service operations. Your goal? Ensure the smooth running of the branch while staying aligned with our corporate objectives, internal procedures, and legal requirements.

  • Maintain the company's corporate image with Customs Authorities, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures, security regulations, and applicable laws, particularly customs regulations.
  • Oversee the customs authorization process, ensuring accurate information submission (H7 Declaration, Simplified Procedure, Authorized consignor/consignee).
  • Analyze operational results to guarantee the efficiency and effectiveness of the branch.
  • Plan and allocate resources (staff, suppliers) for optimal operations.
  • Coordinate and supervise team activities, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Ensure proper handling of goods during warehouse inspections and manage inbound/outbound truck processes.
  • Handle claims and incidents related to e-commerce operations, ensuring all parties are informed.
  • Address customer inquiries regarding e-commerce operations.
  • Report branch performance and KPIs to customers and superiors.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor degree in Logstics or Supply Chain.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in customs, freight forwarding, logistics, or transport operations.
  • At least 3 years managing staff and leading operations.
  • B2-C1 English proficiency.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and ERP systems experience.
