Functieomschrijving

  • Perform critical sourcing activities including supplier evaluation and selection
  • Manage supplier performance and relationships to maintain supply chain stability
  • Monitor market trends and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs
  • Ensure compliance with company's procurement policies and procedures
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the procurement function

Profiel

A successful Operational Buyer should have:

  • A degree in Business, Procurement, Supply Chain Management or a related field
  • Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen
  • Familiarity with procurement systems and tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the FMCG sector and its supply chain dynamics
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
