Job Description

  • Coordinate the end-to-end ocean freight import process, from shipment planning to final delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, including customs clearance and documentation.
  • Manage relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and other logistics partners.
  • Track and monitor shipments, proactively addressing any delays or issues.
  • Optimise import processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and compliance documentation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as procurement and warehouse operations, to align shipping schedules with business needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, shipping rates, and regulatory changes.

The Successful Applicant

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written;
  • Knowledge of logistical processes related to road and ocean transport;
  • The ability to obtain a VGB - 8+ years in the EU;
  • Willingness to grow with the company.
