Over onze klant

The client is a growing multinational with over 20 different nationalities working in the company. Their aim is to provide customers with high-quality, sustainable equipment. Japanese manufacturing company, they produce ice makers machines.


The role of the logistics administrator is to ensure an effective supply and distribution process of our spare parts division.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Arranging shipments for direct orders
  • Acting as intermediary of the Dutch branch with their 3PL company
  • Pick packing both sales orders and stock orders and informing sales branches
  • Creating transfer journals
  • Arranging pickups of damaged machine and delivery of new ones
  • Checking and following-up shipment statuses
  • Process a high-volume of spare parts orders and delivery processing
  • Contact sales branches to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Liaise with the 3rd parts logistics partner to ensure timely deliveries
  • Liaising and communicating with our sales branches with respect to parts and delivery schedules
  • Managing and overseeing administrative processes
  • Interacting with both internal and external suppliers related to deliveries
  • Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
  • Planning and organizing shipments in conformity with product availability and customer requests
  • Maintaining accurate and updated records of orders, suppliers


  • A good knowledge of Logistics, and possession of at least 1 year of professional experience in the logistics industry.
  • A sound educational background which involves possessing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, or in any relevant field, and possession of years of professional experience in the logistics industry
  • Computer literacy, which also involves adequate knowledge on several computer software, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, AX
  • Ability to work both at the team and independent level, as a logistics administrator must be able to organize training programs
  • Demonstration of a high level of flexibility to be able to work, comply, and adapt to the company, suppliers, and clients' requirements
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills in order to effectively liaise with suppliers, clients, and colleagues.
  • Preferably experienced in import/export documentations/regulations in an international environment
  • Fluency in English and additional languages appreciated.
