About Our Client

As a Logistics Office Employee, you will play a vital role in coordinating and supporting the efficient operations of the logistics office. Your responsibilities will include managing customer orders, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders (compliance, sales, forwarding depts, transport hauliers and customers.

Job Description

  • Order fulfilment: Monitor the progress of customer orders, track shipments, and ensure timely delivery. Coordinate with warehouse staff, transportation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and requests. Serve as a point of contact for customers, maintaining a professional and helpful demeanor
  • Maintaining warehouse inventory and availability of the account which is being handled by using the WMS.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties such as filing, scanning documents, managing electronic databases, and maintaining accurate records. Support the logistics office with various administrative tasks as needed.
  • Quoting transport solutions based on customer demand/ instructions/SOP's
  • Invoicing: Prepare and review invoices for customer orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to pricing agreements. Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues. Filing relevant documents per assignment and customs declarations (import, transit and/or export) incl. archiving

The Successful Applicant

  • High level of WMS experience
  • Trouble shooting in cooperation with supervisor
  • Reports and escalates timely if any irregularities occur to Supervisor Logistics.
  • Suggests recommendations, ideas and improvements for daily operations
  • Initiates pro-active improvements to increase productivity and KPI results
  • Initiate optimisation, effectivity and efficiency in use of systems as WMS, TMS, CMS to Supervisor logistics
