The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for supervising inventory control activities within a contract logistics e-commerce facility to ensure high levels of stock accuracy, integrity, and availability. The role oversees inventory processes including cycle counting, discrepancy investigation, replenishment optimization, system accuracy, and stock reconciliation, while supporting efficient outbound fulfilment and replenishment operations.

Job Description

As inventory supervisor you:

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of stock movements.
  • Provide coaching, on-the-job guidance, and feedback to improve accuracy and process compliance.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure stock availability.
  • Support stock audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Provide regular updates on inventory performance to management.

The Successful Applicant

A successful inventory supervisor should have:

  • Experience in the logistics sector or a related field.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • An organised and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
