Job Description

  • Provide HR support to business units, advising on employee relations, performance management, training, staffing, retention, and compensation.
  • Implement and maintain consistent HR policies, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
  • Coordinate recruitment and onboarding, partnering with Talent Acquisition for hiring processes.
  • Manage payroll and benefit vendors to ensure proper service delivery.
  • Oversee employee communications regarding benefits and policy updates.
  • Conduct orientations, compliance training, and development programs.
  • Assist employees with interpreting and enforcing HR policies and procedures.
  • Handle HR administration, including contracts, documentation, and changes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Human Resource Manager should have:

  • Completed higher professional education in HR
  • Minimum 5-7 years as a Human Resource Generalist
  • Knowledge of the current Dutch employment law required
  • Broader knowledge of European employment law is desired
  • Knowledge of technical wholesale is desired
  • HR system knowledge (preferably Workday)
  • Ability to prepare and submit various reports
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of staff and work well with a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion at all times
  • Must be fluent in English and Dutch, both written and spoken
