We are looking for a data-savvy and analytical Demand Planner for a leading international FMCG company. You will be responsible for creating and optimizing volume forecasts across multiple product categories in the Benelux. This role allows you to combine data and business intelligence while influencing production, planning, and commercial decision-making.

Functieomschrijving

Volume Forecasting:

  • Own the full demand forecast (base & promo) for an 18-month horizon
  • Focus on 2-6 months: translate sales/marketing plans and market dynamics into a reliable rolling forecast
  • Provide input for production planning and supply chain alignment
  • Lead the demand forecast in the S&OP process



Business Partnering:

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Trade Category Management, Supply Chain and Marketing
  • Gather and share insights to improve forecasting and ensure successful product launches



Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze and enhance forecasting models
  • Initiate and support automation projects with external partners
  • Create scripts to automate or speed up internal processes
  • Visualize data and insights using tools like Power BI or Google Data Studio
  • Simplify and streamline processes

Profiel

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong affinity for data & technology
  • Experience in Supply Chain or Sales (preferred), ideally in FMCG
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming is a plus
  • Familiarity with databases and tools like Power BI or Tableau
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus
