Our client operates as an independent trader specialized in dairy commodities. With a big catalogue, the company focuses on building strong, long-term partnerships with both customers and suppliers.

From market analysis, to quality assurance, and efficient supply chain management they ensure high-quality products and reliable logistics processes.Due to growth reasons, they are looking for a commercial, hands on Commodity Trader to join their team of 12 and grow market opportunities, create new businesses and maintain existing ones in the Spanish market.

Functieomschrijving

As Commodity Trader you are responsible for:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Analyze and monitor the market trends and activities.
  • Negotiate deals with customers and suppliers.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Assist in the development of sales strategies.
  • Address and resolve customer issues and complaints.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Participate in events and exhibitions.

Profiel

As successful Commodity Trader should have:

  • A bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, preferably.
  • A keen interest in the FMCG industry or commodity trading.
  • Proficient language skills in English and Spanish.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Analytical, proactive, commercial and communicative.
