The company is part of a worldwide and renowned computer manufacturer. It is a global company, creating Information Technology (IT) solutions in the memory sector. The office is based in Eindhoven. You will be part of the EMEA sales office, around 25 international team members, that is internationally focused.

We are recruiting for a new team member to join the Sales Team as Business Developer for warm and new contacts. The region depends on your languages skills, but a big plus is besides English the French languages. The role will require the candidate to have excellent communication and negotiation skills, very good organisational skills, attention to detail and a positive attitude in order to be successful.

Functieomschrijving

As part of the Sales Team, as a business development manager, you will be responsible for selling and promoting the products to a portfolio of dedicated existing key accounts as well as acquiring prospects and new accounts.

You serve as a strategic partner to (prospective) clients by driving solutions that deliver measurable business results. Goal is to meet with C-Suite level, high level global procurement, product and engineering, sales and marketing executives to be part of their strategic planning and brand communication initiatives. Navigate through sales cycle with a strong persistence to overcome objections.

Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with clients and understanding their needs. Through research of client organization and business landscape, bring a consultative approach by creating new ideas, approaches and customized solutions that are outside of the RFI/RFQ circle that clients can consider deploying to exceed their brand objectives.

In this role, you will fulfil an inside position as well (when possible) an outside one for events, client and tradeshows regarding business developement purpose and project delivery.

  • Manage assigned key account(s) and achieve/exceed key performance index in closed business quarterly/annually;
  • Focus on signing new accounts, developing key relationships within respective markets, and selling products to new clients;
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity through prospecting calls, face-to-face appointments, presentations, referrals, networking events or others
  • Lead all aspects of capabilities presentations, sales presentations and proposal generation
  • Lead strategic business development projects, including partnership conversations
  • Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion
  • Reviewing, analysing and presenting client strategy resolutions to management;
  • Forecasting revenue opportunities and manage sales activities to meet and exceed targets
  • Preparation of customer visit reports/statistical reports to understand customer demands, stock, pricing etc.
  • Negotiate complex commercial and contractual terms;
  • Monitoring market trends and providing regular competitor feedback.



Profiel

  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional language French, is a big plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or above, in Business Administration and/or technical/engineering background
  • 3+ years proven record of sales experience
  • B2B consultative sales experience
  • Extensive affinity with and understanding of IT and hardware products
  • Proficient user of MS Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools and Salesforce
  • Strong professional communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with high levels of discipline, self-motivation, and organization
  • Ability to work in team with strong interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn and improve
